Krystal Tandon – Caring and Eager Physiotherapy Resident
Krystal Tandon studied her undergraduate degree in B.Sc Kinesiology from McMaster University. Coming from a competitive dance background, she developed a strong interest in the relationship between movement and science. With a passion and a desire to further understand human movement and how to help people with pain, Krystal decided to pursue her passion of physiotherapy and embark on a journey to Australia to study at La Trobe University.
Krystal follows a patient-centered care approach towards her client’s physiotherapy sessions, which involves respecting the patient’s experiences, values and needs in hopes to empower the patient to become an active participant in their self-care and pain management regime. She focuses on a combination of client education, hands on therapy and exercise for long-term management of pain. Krystal hopes to cater to the greater Orleans community and help everyone move easier and be pain-free in their respective everyday lives.
In Krystal’s spare time, you can find Krystal enjoying long walks, hiking, watching movies and spending time with family.
