Maggie Runnalls – Eager and Caring Physiotherapy Resident
Maggie Runnalls received her Master of Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland after completing Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia. While completing her physiotherapy degree she served as class representative, advocating for her classmates’ views and contributing to improvement of the program. Maggie’s dedication to clients and strong clinical skills also earned her an award for the program’s top student on clinical placement.
Maggie enjoys connecting with her patients and understanding each person’s individual goals in order to get them back to doing the things they enjoy. She aims to effectively communicate with her clients and empower them to take an active role in their care. Using a client centered approach, she combines the use of manual therapy, exercise and education to help her patients achieve their goals.
Maggie is dedicated to furthering her education and training and currently has taken the following courses:
- Pelvic Floor Level 1: The Physical Therapy Approach to Female and Male Urinary Incontinence
- Vestibular Rehabilitation: A Comprehensive Introduction
- Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation
Outside of work, Maggie can be found playing a round of golf, downhill skiing, traveling somewhere new, or experimenting in the kitchen.
