Samantha Church – Caring and Eager Physiotherapy Resident
Samantha Church received her Master’s of Science degree in Physiotherapy from Queen’s University in August 2018, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ottawa in April 2015. During her time at Queen’s, Samantha served as Class Representative for the Physiotherapy Class of 2018, and was active in the Queen’s Dance Club and Rehabilitation Sciences intramural sports.
Each client provides an opportunity for Samantha to share her expertise and passion for helping others achieve their optimal quality of life. She collaborates with her clients on creative and goal-driven treatment plans to help them get back to their unique activities and interests.
Samantha is a Physiotherapy Resident working under the mentorship of Dave Bellefleur, Vice-President of Bellefleur Physiotherapy. She believes in the importance of continuing education, and is already working towards receiving certifications in:
- Manual Therapy Level 1
- Introduction to Dance Medicine and Survey of Dance Injuries – Harkness Centre for Dance Injuries
In her spare time, Samantha enjoys staying active and being outdoors. Her hobbies include hiking, Ultimate Frisbee, contemporary dance, and trying new recipes.
