Arthritis Programs

If you have arthritis, participating in joint-friendly physical activity can improve your arthritis pain, function, mood, and quality of life. Joint-friendly physical activities are low-impact, which means they put less stress on the body, reducing the risk of injury.

Regular exercise can boost strength and flexibility in people who have arthritis. Stronger muscles can better support your joints, while improved flexibility can aid joint function.

Some of the other health benefits of moving regularly for people living with arthritis:

  • Strengthen the muscles around your joints
  • Help you maintain bone strength
  • Give you more energy to get through the day
  • Make it easier to get a good night’s sleep
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Improve your balance

Bellefleur Fitness has 2 rehab based programs for individuals with arthritis that are supervised by our qualified physiotherapists (click on title to find out more).
