Amanda Clément

BILINGUAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Amanda Clément graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with her Master of Physical Therapy and previously completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology from Regina. While completing her MPT, she served on the Physical Therapy Students Society and participated in various intramural sports.

With an extensive sporting background in competitive broomball and ringette, Amanda has had the honour of representing her various teams on provincial, national, and international levels. From a young age, Amanda recognized the value of physical therapy for athletes. Still, since then, she has grown to love the profession more as she has worked in many areas outside of the sporting world.

Amanda enjoys meeting new people and sharing her love of physical therapy with others. She seeks to empower her clients to take an active role in their care to invest in and maximize their health. She enjoys collaborating with her clients to meet their specific goals while ensuring that a tailor-made physio experience meets their unique needs.

She has a passion for learning and is interested in pursuing continuing education certification in pelvic floor rehabilitation and further developing her skills in breast cancer rehabilitation.

To date, Amanda has the following special area certifications:

  • Breast Cancer Rehabilitation
  • Pelvic Floor Level 1: The Physical Therapy Approach to Female and Male Urinary Incontinence
  • Oncology and the Pelvic Floor
  • Pelvic Floor Level 2/3A: Female and Male Pelvic Pain
  • Introductory Pelvic Health Care for Trans and Gender Diverse People

When not in the clinic, you are likely to find Amanda walking her dogs, in a rink playing ringette, or trying a new recipe in the kitchen. Her hobbies include reading, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
